ABOUT

ME

My name is Vincent Reynaud. I'm a French documentary and outdoor sports cinematographer, working internationally on films, branded content, and event-driven stories.

Bio

I grew up in Annecy, in the heart of the French Alps, where nature, movement, and outdoor sports became part of my everyday life. I first came to filmmaking through action sports, but over time, sport became more than a subject to film. It became a powerful visual language to tell human stories, explore different ways of seeing the world, and share moments that feel sincere, intense, and alive.

My work is driven by a simple idea: bringing cinematic visual direction to real stories without losing their authenticity. I like to be involved early in the process, working closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to shape a clear visual approach, build a strong shooting plan, and find the right balance between ambition and flexibility.

RESUME

In 2018, I made a key move to Los Angeles to join the team at Poorboyz Productions.
There, I had the chance to sharpen my skills in sports filmmaking, working on a wide range of projects with inspiring directors and producers.

I also became part of the World Surf League crew, contributing to some of their most engaging and memorable shows.

MY STYLE

On set, my role is to support the story and protect the connection between the director and the subject. I take care of the visual and technical side (camera, lighting, crew coordination, and field adaptation) so the project can stay focused on emotion, honesty, and meaningful moments.

My approach combines the precision of cinema with the agility of documentary filmmaking. I build lightweight and efficient setups for remote or fast-paced environments, while keeping the possibility to create more prepared, premium images when the project calls for it.

Every project is different. My goal is not to impose a fixed style, but to understand the intention, adapt to the people involved, and help translate each story into images that feel authentic, beautiful, and memorable.
