MY CAMERA OP STYLE

My framing style could be described as following the rules in search of the best shot. I strive to create images that are technically strong and well-composed, while also capturing the mood and emotion that bring a story to life.

COMPOSITION

When composing a shot, I focus on filling the frame with the key element I want to highlight. I use the rule of thirds to bring visual interest to the subject and carefully consider the placement of foreground and background elements to create a sense of depth. I also follow the 180-degree rule closely, especially during interviews, to maintain consistency in eye lines and movement.

LIGHT

When it comes to lighting, I prefer to shoot against the light to create natural contrast on the face and a soft glow on the surrounding elements. This approach adds depth and texture to the image. I also pay close attention to catching a glint in the subject’s eye, which brings life and focus to the expression.

With these principles in mind, I always look for the best possible background—one that supports and enhances the composition without distracting from the main subject. This helps me create images that are both technically solid and emotionally engaging, with a strong sense of storytelling.
